Details we keep for your order

When you order we collect your name, email, phone number, delivery address and postcode, delivery or collection choice and any notes, delivery or collection date, and what you bought.

We use these to process and deliver your order, contact you about it, deal with any problems, and keep the records we need for accounts and tax. Orders are stored in our order management system.

Payments are processed by our card payment provider. We receive confirmation that you've paid, but not your full card details.

Turf laying quote requests

When you ask for a turf laying quote we collect your name, mobile number, email and address (or plot number for a new build), and anything else you choose to add: garden size, preferred date and notes. We use these to prepare your quote, arrange a visit or date, and contact you about it.

If we lay your lawn, we may take before-and-after photos and videos of the garden for our records and marketing, focusing on the lawn rather than people or house fronts. Tell us before we start if you'd rather we didn't use them for marketing. Our turf laying terms cover this too.

How we contact you

When you order, ask for a quote or send an enquiry, our team uses your contact details to contact you about your order, quote or enquiry and relevant services. This can be by phone call, SMS, WhatsApp, email or similar.

You can update your contact preferences or opt out at any time. Just tell us by phone on 0191 694 1077 or through our contact page, and we'll update your preferences.

Your gate and yard photos

If you send us a photo of your gate or garden, we use it only to help the driver find your property or to advise you on a pack. Our delivery team sees it. We never publish a photo you've sent us without your permission.

How long we keep them

Photos are kept for 6 years, then deleted. Ask us any time and we'll delete them sooner.

Messages you send us

If you contact us through the enquiry form, by phone, by email or by WhatsApp, we keep the message and your contact details so we can reply and follow up on your question. Messages sent by WhatsApp are also covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

Who else sees your details

Only the people and services that help us run your order or quote: our card payment provider, the provider of our order and customer management systems, our delivery and installation teams, and our email and messaging providers. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics receives information about how the site is used, not your name or order details.

We never sell your details, and we don't share them for anyone else's marketing.

How long we keep things

Order records are kept for 6 years, for our accounts and tax. Enquiries and quote requests that don't turn into an order are kept for 6 years, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted where we don't need to keep it, or object to how we use it. Get in touch through the contact form and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
