We'll use your mobile and email to let you know when your turf is ready for delivery or collection, and again once it's been delivered or collected, although the message may not arrive at the exact moment it's left.

Yes. Each roll is easy to carry on its own, so if you can walk through your gate, so can the turf.

It's cut to order for your delivery or collection day.

Yes, as long as it's down that evening or first thing the following morning.

Plan to lay it the day it arrives. Until you do, keep it stacked, shaded and lightly watered if it's warm.

In light shade, yes. Lawns need some direct light each day, so very shady corners under high walls suit other planting better.

For 10 m² or so, shears or a small push mower will do the job.

Lift them first and lay on a soil bed, so the roots have somewhere to grow.

Keep off for the first couple of weeks while it roots, apart from watering.

Order by 2pm the working day before your delivery or collection at the latest, but please order as far in advance as you can to avoid disappointment. Collections run Monday to Friday only, and deliveries go out on the days the basket offers. Your chosen day is a requested delivery day. We deliver on it wherever possible and will call or message to confirm, or to let you know if it ever needs to change.

Count and check your rolls once they're left, before you start laying. If anything doesn't look right, tell us the same day with a photo of the stack as it was left.

Yes. Every order is counted out to the number of rolls you've paid for. If you're collecting, give them a quick count before you drive away.

Yes, that's normal for fresh turf. Each roll is lifted and rolled by a harvesting machine, so ragged edges, small tears and the odd roll in pieces happen. They knit together once laid and watered, and your lawn grows just the same.
